Allison
Barlow
Associate Allison Barlow specializes in creating comprehensive Learning
Systems
critical for organizations to realize their strategic objectives. A
devout systems
thinker, Ms. Barlow recognizes that even well-designed and executed
training will not return a significant investment to an organization
unless it is driven by a well-defined and planned strategy.
Allison
previously held
the position as Director of
Corporate Training and Education
for the O.C. Tanner Company,
the leader in employee recognition products and services. In that
position she implemented an infrastructure that included developing the
Corporate
Learning Council to assess,
plan, recommend and evaluate the educational processes of the company.
Her expertise in needs
assessment, design and implementation of alternative training systems
has
been key in assisting O.C. Tanner as it moves towards a high
performance organization utilizing teams and lean production practices.
Ms.
Barlow has
significant experience in coordinating the human aspects of major
IS transformations, such as SAP
and Trilogy systems. Her experience on the front line of such massive
undertakings provides her with the unusual combination of both a conceptual
understanding of such a process and the tactical requirements
needed
to create success.
In
addition to her
skills in employee and corporate education, Allison specializes in
coordinating all aspects of organizational
surveying. From design to
administration to analysis, Allison has created assessments that
determine organizational needs and evaluate the effectiveness of
corporate initiatives.
Ms.
Barlow has a
Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Utah. In addition,
she is one of the officers of The
Arts Organization, a newly
developed corporation that focuses on the importance of all aspects of
art in the community and with individuals. This enhances her career
with a deeper understanding of human behavior and motivation, as well
as creativity in teaching methods.
Personal Interests…
Allison has a wide variety of interests, and not enough time to enjoy them. In addition to hiking and canyoneering in Utah, she travels extensively, is a voracious reader, and enjoys time with her nieces and nephews.
